World Book Day 2nd March 2017

World Book Day 2017, Thursday 2nd March

Yesterday we had a lovely relaxing day, celebrating World Book Day wearing an array of colourful pyjamas and onesies!

All of the children were in mixed age groups and moved around the school to listen to five stories read by five different adults. Each time they collected a stamp in their Reading Passport. We were amazed by how attentively all of the children from Wrens to Peacocks listened. We hope you enjoy many more bedtime stories at home this weekend. To help you to extend your collection of stories, the children were all given a £1.00 book token, details below:

All children were given a book token..

All you need to do is to take it to your local bookseller (there’s lots of them out there – find your local participating bookshop here and swap it for one of the TEN (exclusive, new and completely free) World Book Day books! Or, if you’d prefer, you can use your book token to get £1 off any full price book instead. The World Book Day book tokens are valid from 27 February – 26 March 2017”.
