Our Sports Council have already been busy making signs for the playground, interviewing people who have competed in competitions, organised a rota for the playground equipment trolley and have started up a twice weekly playtime sports club for Year One.

Dodgeball – Six of our Year threes and fours in the Martins had a great time at The Towers School on Tuesday 3rd October when they attended a Dodgeball tournament. They won two matches and drew in a third. Well done goes to;
Alfred, Nat, Alex. T, Saydie-Leigh, Martha and Chloe. N.
Godinton Cross Country – We came away with fantastic results from the Year Five and Six Godinton House Cross Country on Wednesday 10th October, with sterling solo performances from Tom in year six who came 16th and Yasmine in Year five coming in 10th place.
In the team events our Year Five boys; Nate, Finley and Joel, came an amazing 1st place and then our Year Six girls team; Zoe, Ellie and Imogen, followed suit!
We are incredibly proud of all of our competitors and our two new trophies.
Wednesday 17th October saw a brilliant turnout of 11 runners at the Year Three and Four Godinton Cross Country with many of the children running here for the first time. Particular congratulations go to Martha who won the Year Three girls race with a brilliant time of 5mins 31secs. Well done to all our runners; Nat, Alex. T, Martha, Zhana, Saydie-Leigh, Chloe.N, Jamie.A, Alex.S, Erin, Ella and Emily (Remember you get 5 team points for representing the school!)

Monday Morning Athletics Club
The club is running again this term 8-8:30am (parents must stay or arrange for their child to be taken to school by another parent).

Playtime Sports Club
We are hoping to extend our Sports Council run playtime Sports Club to 2 days a week so that Wrens can also benefit from a more active playtime!
